Top Ten for the week of 9/21/2009

One thing I love about our Technames Pulse crawler is seeing it work. In our previous run, we captured Patrick Gelsinger's departure from Intel and this week, he show's up on EMC's exec page. I am sure that there were press releases from EMC about the hire, but I don't have time to read thousands of press releases. Our pulse crawler allows me to capture these changes effortlessly. Also, I hate to beat a dead horse... but Silver Spring Networks has done it again. In know that I have mentioned them several times in previous blogs, but they are attracting some major talent to their executive team. This week, they added Gary Gysin as EVP WW Sales. Gary was previously CEO at Asempra and SVP WW Sales at McData. I am very interested to see how things unfold for Silver Springs, they are loading the bench to make a run at the Super Bowl.
